The State of Maine town of Windsor, with a population of 2,600, lies in Kennebec County and is the home of Windsor Agricultural Fair, which has existed since the middle of the 19th century. The 4 furlong oval track, with its small open air grandstand, has been an integral part of Windsor Fair for some considerable time. The track has an extended number of racing days which comes to an end on Labor Day and which has, as its highlight, the Maine Sire Stakes.
